Ethan Bickel grew up in Western New England and holds a BFA in Printmaking from the Hartford Art School, Hartford, CT and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI.

He has been taking photos since he was young and remembers the moment he fell in love with light one April morning at the age of three. He takes inspiration from the natural world and how it interacts with the built environment. He currently resides in Seattle, WA.
